I figured I'd start this thread off with my custom 10/22.

    Stats:
    • Volquartsen 16.5" carbon fiber tension barrel
    • BSA 3-9x40mm Mildot Scope
    • Bell & Carlson Anschutz stock
    • Tuffer Buffer bolt recoil buffer
    • ProMag extended mag release
    • Caldwell 6"-9" bipod
    • Tactical Innovations cocking handle
    • Tactical Innovations 25 round mags

I plan on upgrading the scope and trigger in the future.

    Nice stuff guys.
Amdac, that Ruger-Volquartsen looks good. I bet it is very accurate. What kind of trigger are you thinking of adding?
Slacktrack, I've been thinking of donig a tactitcal 10/22. How do you like the archangel stock? I've also been looking at getting a Savage Mk II FVT, the one with the target sights on it.
I'll get my .22s up soon.

    Peace:cool:

Thanks. It's pretty accurate so far, but the 8lb trigger pull is brutal. I've been looking at the KIDD 2 stage trigger, but it's a bit expensive. I might end up settling with a Volquartsen hammer and sear instead which should bring me down to 1.5 - 2lbs if I remember correctly.

1.5 - 2 lbs is very light, barely got to touch the trigger. Kind of like on my Kimber 22 SVT.

    Or the Kimber 22 HS.

And you got to have a Ruger 10/22 or 3 :)

    Or 5:D

You know I really like Ruger.

But this is my real prize a Mauser ES350 single shot.[IMG]
I got it for way cheap because a previous owner removed the rear tangent sight when they put the Lyman peep sight on it. If it was in original condition it would be worth over 1k.

Those are my 22s. Some of the funnest guns to shoot.

NM, I fully agree! It's easy to spend hours with a .22 at the range. That Archangel stock is pretty good. Doesn't take much modifications to get the receiver and barrel to sit in properly. If I remember correctly, I spent about 3 minutes with a pocket knife and some sandpaper. The biggest part is removing the front sight from the dovetail. Really hard if you have none of the right tools like I did at the time!

I have a marlin model 60ss .22 and a couple stock 10/22's. I think I have the most fun with an old Ruger Single Six when plinking though. I love the tactical stuff but the Single Six takes me back to my childhood shooting cans and paper targets.

Those are some great lookin guns! I'm awaiting on my Browning Buckmark to get back from Browning to fix a light fire issue I've been having. Then I'm really hoping I can find me some more .22 ammo on Black Friday.

Below is my wife's Walther P22 in .22LR. Her primary carry gun is a Walther P99, but she practices with this one. I admit I take it out sometimes too. It has a threaded barrel on it as we plan on acquiring a .22 suppressor this year. Well, its taking so long to approve Form 4s these days, it might actually end up being 2015, but that's another story. ;)
