If I was in the military I would have loved to fire the M249 light machine gun. The gun has a good feel to it and there is a feeder for a M16/M4 magazines and there is the 100-round belt fed magazine. Is there anyone who fired this gun?

I've used the original version in the Canadian military. M249 is the American variant of the FN Minimi. It's not a bad gun, I definitely wouldn't want to be on the other end of it.

I would not want to be the enemy going against a marine armed with two of these things. How is the FN Minimi gun compared to the M249 weapon? How is the accuracy of M249 compared to the FN Minimi?

They're essentially the same gun, just with different accessories slapped on it.

Sounds good to me I would love to get my hands on it. It seems like an awesome weapon to fire. I remember watching a US marine using two of them in a Youtube video that was awesome.
